Complex radiation control

Complex radiation control is designed for control over the illicit trafficking of the sources of ionizing radiation in the detection zone, as well as effective problem-solving relating to the alarm, localization and identification of hazardous objects.

Stationary (fixed) radiation detection systems are used to ensure control over vehicles, railway trains, passengers, baggage at the various checkpoints, staff of nuclear power plants (NPP) and other sites.

The entire automated radiation detection system has been developed by the leading specialists from Ukraine and Russia. Equipment assembly is performed in the territory of Ukraine, using domestic and foreign parts, however, with the Ukrainian constituent being prevalent.

Traffic Stationary Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM)

It is made for the control of traffic, illicit trafficking of fissile & radioactive materials through the state border crossing points of Ukraine, airports, seaports, checkpoints and other sites. Control is carried out by either gamma & neutron channel or gamma-channel only, along with the video surveillance system (CCTV), workstation (WS), control panel PVC-01M and supplementary telecommunications equipment.  

Traffic RPMs are represented by the following systems:  “1А” (2 pillars, gamma + neutron), “1А-02” (2  pillars, gamma + enhanced neutron),  “2A” (1 pillar, gamma + neutron), “1А-04Х” (2 pillars, gamma + enhanced neutron), “1Zh” (2 pillars, gamma + neutron), “1Zh2” (2 pillars, gamma + enhanced neutron), “2Zh” (1 pillar, gamma + neutron), “1S” (1 pillar, gamma), “2S” (2 pillars, gamma), “1SN” (1 pillar, gamma & neutron), “2SN” (2 pillars, gamma & neutron), “2L” (2 pillars, gamma for a scrap metal check).

   

Pedestrian / Post & Baggage RPM

It is made for the detection of illicit trafficking of fissile & radioactive materials. There are no sources of ionizing radiation inside, it being completely safe for people’s lives and activities. In addition, it can be supplied with an identification module as a set.

Pedestrian RPMs are represented by the following systems: “1P” (1 pillar, gamma + neutron), “1P2” (1 pillar, gamma & neutron), “1P3” (1 pillar, gamma + neutron), “2P3” (2 pillars, gamma & neutron), “2P” (2 pillars, gamma + neutron), “2P2” (2 pillars, gamma + neutron), “1U” (1 pillar, gamma + neutron), “2U” (2 pillars, gamma & neutron). The post & baggage RPM is represented by “PB” (1 pillar, gamma + neutron).

  

 

Multipurpose Handheld Radiometer-Spectrometer MKS-A-03

It is made for the control of the movement of nuclear and radioactive materials as well as area monitoring. It is used in the mobile radiological laboratories, state border crossing points, nuclear fuel cycle enterprises, military facilities, nuclear power plants, etc.
